Steel RV Garages and Covers, Built on a Poured Slab

DGS Concrete & Steel Structures builds steel RV garages and covers that protect your RV, camper, boat, and trailer from sun, rain, and hail, and pours the concrete slab beneath them. As your local steel building contractor, you get the structure and its foundation from one in house crew across North Carolina.

More Than a Carport for Your RV

An open carport keeps the rain off, but a steel RV garage on a poured concrete slab protects your investment from every direction. DGS builds enclosed and covered steel structures sized for tall motorhomes, fifth wheels, campers, and boats, with the height and door clearance they need.
Family owned in High Point, North Carolina since 2009, with more than 25 years of combined experience and full insurance, we pour the slab and raise the steel with our own crew. One accountable team handles the whole build, from the foundation to the final panel.

FAQs

RV Building Questions, Answered

Clear answers to what RV and boat owners ask most before building.

Yes. DGS pours the concrete pad and builds the steel structure with our own crew, so one local team handles your RV garage or cover from the foundation to the final panel, with no separate concrete contractor to coordinate.

We build to the clearance your rig needs, including extra height for tall motorhomes and fifth wheels. Each structure is engineered to order, so your RV, boat, or trailer fits with room to spare for doors and access.
Both work, and the right choice depends on how much protection you want. An enclosed steel garage shields your RV from all sides and adds security, while an open cover protects it from sun, rain, and hail at a lower cost. We can quote either.
The cost depends on the height, the size, the slab, and whether it is enclosed or open. The most accurate way to get a figure is to design your structure in our 3D builder or request a free quote, and we will price it to your exact specifications.
For steel buildings, DGS serves clients across the entire East Coast. For concrete work, we cover High Point, the Triad, and the surrounding area within roughly a three hour drive. Our home base is High Point, North Carolina.
